The intuitive team enjoys a productive ABTA Travel Convention

Last week the intuitive team enjoyed a busy few days at the ABTA Travel Convention in Costa Navarino, Greece.

The conference was packed full of informative talks and interesting meetings; we heard Justin Urquhart Stewart’s forecast of how consumer confidence is key to growth for both the UK economy and the travel industry. Google’s Ruairidh Roberts shared his insight into how businesses need to get to grips with an agile world and move with technological change. Travel Weekly’s Lucy Huxley also chaired an interesting panel on the future of the industry and how flexibility is key for travel businesses. All in line with our own thinking and something we’re working hard to help our customers with through our flagship reservation platform iVector.

Not only did we attend some thought provoking sessions and have productive meetings with professionals from across the travel industry, but we were proud sponsors of the Travel Convention app. The app is a handy tool which helped delegates communicate with each other before, during and after the event as well as giving them all the key information they needed to make the most of their time at the ABTA Travel Convention. Delegates will have also noticed that the useful text alerts they received during the event were ‘powered by intuitive’.

It was a fruitful convention and we’d like to thank everyone at ABTA who was involved in the organisation as well as all the delegates we met.
